This is Glenn’s second occasion to serve as our Interim Senior Minister:the first being from September 2008 through February 2009.  Since the conclusion of that interim, he has remained an active member having served as Elder, Chair of the Capital Fund  Raising Campaign, teacher of the Seekers’ Adult Sunday School Class, and currently continues to serve (in his spare time) as Chair of the Capital Building Committee.

This time he has been employed to do an “intentional” interim, expected to be for a minimum of two years.  He has identified three areas of growth he would like to help our congregation achieve in these two years.  They are: 1.)  completing our 18,000 square foot community, education, office, and fellowship building; 2.)  develop our congregation’s worship services (8:30 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.) into vibrant experiences of tradition or liturgical worship; and  3.) and helping us focus our improving our congregational life so that we will become  a great Community of Grace for Richmond and Madison County.

A “COMMUNITY OF GRACE” is a congregation where all people are welcomed and valued.  In order to achieve this new level of congregational achievement, he hopes to lead us in the following ventures.

Glenn is a life-long member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and has been an ordained minister for 45 years.  His entire ministry has been in Central Kentucky.  He is a graduate of Chapman University (B. A.), and Lexington Theological Seminary (M. Div. and D. Min.).  Jayne, his wife of 45 years is a native of Madison County.  Glenn’s entire ministry has been in Central Kentucky.
