Young Adult Ministries

Often difficult to define, our young adult ministry program is for people 18 years old until old enough to know better. The transition from adolescence to adulthood is strange. Friendships are more difficult to discover. Incorporating faith into an unfamiliar life of work or college studies is not easy. Maybe you are single. Maybe you have kids. Maybe you still live with your parents. Whatever your lot in life at this particular stage, we have created a program for young adults to grow in their faith as they start to feel their growing years for the first time. Always informal, we meet every 2nd Friday night for Happy Hour specials at local restaurants. The focus is on establishing Christian friendships, discussing relevant topics and taking part in occasional activities. We also participate frequently in the citywide sports programs such as volleyball, basketball and softball. “Team Jesus”, though not an athletic powerhouse is a good time that ends with more W’s than L’s.
