The Disciples of Christ have put out a statement regarding the situation surrounding our beloved church camps for the Summer of 2021. I’m including that link here.
I also wanted to share that our Regional church camps have put out a statement as well, and have put out a list of (tentative) dates for our traditional camps for this year. I know this is a subject that our families of children and teens (and adults/young adults that volunteer as camp counselors) have had on their minds as this is the time of year that plans to start being made. While we hope that vaccine effectiveness/distribution will reach enough individuals for these camps to safely occur, we respect individual family and church staff decisions on participation. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and will put out a statement as more information is made available.
