Beginning with the first Sunday of Lent on March 5, we will move through a series of sermons that looks at those parts of our lives that we hide and ignore but continue to impact how we live. In the shadows of our lives we will find misplaced desires, feelings of unworthiness, anger and pride that can resurface when we least expect it and keep us from living as we know Gods wants us to live. Join us during this season of lent, a time when we are all invited to reflect deeply about how we can live more faithfully as disciples of Christ.
Come join the discussion about the book, "Sticky Faith", which looks at how churches and families can foster faith in their children and improve the chances that young adults will continue to actively engage their faith within a congregation. This class will discuss how each of us, as parents or members of FCC, can nurture the faith of our children and youth.
Calling all women of Richmond: have you ever felt less, left out, or lonely? Tuesday, February 21 at 6 PM, we will begin a study on the book, "Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely," by Lysa TerKeurst and will be lead by Katie Griffin. All women are invited, those inside and outside of the church community (so bring a friend!).
